First PR Coverage
Following on from my last post about my work with Melanie at Lothian Therapy, it was great to pick up the latest issue of Natural Health magazine to see her featured in the Festive Stress article. This was Melanie's first piece of national PR and just a small part of the work we have done together. From finding her core focus, creating her message, to creating her brand and promoting her services, it has been a fun and successful 4 months working together. Plus there is more PR coverage to come in the next couple of weeks!

Creating Focus - Lothian Therapy
A couple of months ago I was introduced by a previous client to Melanie Phillips of Lothian Therapy. Although we couldn't be further apart in distance, as Melanie is based on the East Coast of Scotland and I am based in East Kent, we have formed a successful working relationship focussing on raising an awareness to the great work Melanie does as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, EFT Specialist and Life Coach.

Following the basis of my small business package, we have peeled back the layers of her work and found her true niche and specialism.. From there we have created her key message and focus which is now the core of her promotion and marketing including creating a new website, with the help of TDS Media. Then in the past week I have secured placement for her in two national publications in the lead up to Christmas.

We still have some work to do but it has been such a pleasure to work with Melanie and also to be able to see how effective our working together has been for her and her business and in a short space of time.

Working with clients like Lothian Therapy enables me to use my all round skills in marketing and PR as it is important to not only open the door to your business but to be saying the right things to your target audience when they step into your business.

Feel the Glow!

Feel the Glow!
Over the past week it has been great to see two pieces of client media coverage that I secured for nutrition and fitness group, Glow. Must admit I do love getting great case studies into magazines especially as they can inspire so many. This was one of those stories. Lovely Laura has lost 4 stone and looked amazing. This appeared in the Woman Magazine Diet Special.

On behalf of Glow I have also created and built a strong relationship with Bella magazine, in which we create a 7 days healthy eating plan. Based on the Glow principles these featured menu plans encourage us to cook from scratch and to enjoy fresh and wholesome foods.

April Update

Oops!!! I certainly haven't been practising what I preach recently by keeping my website news / blog updated. My excuse is that I have been so busy working with three lovely new clients as well as of course my existing clients that not sure where April has gone.

Over the past few weeks my existing client work as included creating and implementing opportunities such as full three page features and sharing their award winning success. I have also been working with a leading charity who are being supported by a client over the next 12 months which involves a programme of activities and events. Plus with the start of a new financial year for many organisations I have been creating marketing plans and reports for several clients to support their objectives for the next 12 months.

I will introduce you to my new clients in subsequent posts and will update you further on what is happening with my existing clients too with media coverage coming out in the next month.

Oh yes and on the 1st May I will be celebrating 14 years of RPR!

I have been able to secure some great PR coverage for my clients during December and January. From writing a specific feature article for a health professional trade magazine to providing four page feature for a leading weekly consumer publication, the coverage has been varied but very specific and relevant to the client's key message to their customers.
